Pure Palm Wax
Here at Snohomish Candle Co., we love crafting our pure palm wax candles by hand, one small batch at a time. We use the finest ingredients, so your candle experience can be beautiful, natural, and healthy.
Natural & Renewable
We use RSPO ( Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) sourced palm wax, produced from the fruit of the oil palm tree. It is non-GMO, and an environmentally friendly, sustainable and renewable product. Palm wax is a hard wax, so our candles have a longer burn time than other waxes, and burn clean, with very little soot. Unlike soy and paraffin wax, palm wax doesn’t require chemical additives to smell and look beautiful. Our candles have a unique, marbled appearance that melds beautifully with natural color dyes and scents. When lit, the candle wax becomes translucent, with a beautiful glowing effect.
Candle Care
Remember to trim the wick before each burn to 1/4 inch. To avoid tunneling, (where only a small portion of the wax around the wick melts), we recommend burning for 2-3 hours each time you light the candle. If you get any wax build up, use a butter knife and gently carve the wax to get it back on track. Palm wax is a hard wax with a higher melt point than the softer paraffin or soy wax candles, and will liquefy as it burns.
NEVER leave a lit candle unattended, and keep candles away from children, pets and flammable objects. Always burn candles in fireproof holders. Do not place on a candle warmer.
When not in use, store in a cool dry place with the lid on to keep it free of dust, and to preserve the scent and quality of the burn.
When burned and cared for properly, our candles will provide hours of fragrant bliss.
What We Do
Each Snohomish Candle Co. candle is carefully crafted in our home studio. We select the finest ingredients, like sophisticated and complex fragrances, 100% braided cotton wicks, and all natural, sustainable palm wax for a cleaner, longer burn. We hand pour our wax into reusable, recyclable glass mason jars, and top them off with galvanized lids. We keep a limited supply of many of the fragrances we offer, and the rest we pour to order.
